Remnants
Remnants Personal relics, Found objects, liquid latex, and acrylics on tile and canvas. 2020 “Remnants” is an interactive installation based on stories from women ages 14-25, collected during interviews with the artist as part of a research grant, investigating possible correlations between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), queerness, and neurodiversity in adolescence and early adulthood. The multi-sensory room recreates pivotal moments in participants’ lives, allowing viewers to engage with the experiences that molded someone else’s sense of self.
